Labor Doula Support

Each family has a unique journey, and no two are alike. For that reason, the packages listed below are just to give you an idea of the most common services I may provide but they are not limited to.

Packages

Includes Complimentary 60-minute consultation

I offer two Labor Doula Birth Packages to provide you with the help and care you want and need during your pregnancy. I truly believe that the journey doesn’t end at birth, so I have added the first night home to the birth package. The purpose of this service is to make sure families know they are not alone once they bring their baby home.

Labor Doula Birth Package

$1500

Support may look like this but is not limited to:

  • 2 prenatal visits
  • Assist with writing birth preferences
  • Prepare and practice for labor
  • Access to evidence-based information
  • Unlimited text, email, and phone support
  • On call 24/7 from 38 weeks until birth
  • Continuous labor and delivery support up to 1-2 hours post delivery
  • Use of rebozo, tens unit, birthing ball, and comfort measures
  • Knowledge of body movement and positions optimal for labor
  • One (1) two-hour daytime postpartum visit to process your birth experience
  • Referrals to infant, parenting, and community resources

Labor Doula Birth Package + first night home*

*(first night being within the first week home)

$1800

  • Unlimited text, email, and phone support
  • On call 24/7 from 38 weeks until birth
  • Continuous labor and delivery support up to 1-2 hours post delivery

  • Knowledge of body movement and positions optimal for labor
  • One (1) two-hour daytime postpartum visit to process your birth experience
  • One (1) eight-hour overnight postpartum visit
  • Referrals to infant, parenting, and community resources

Ways to pay for doula care

Doula Care is eligible spending for your HSA and FSA. See this link to Wage Works on how to submit.

Postpartum Doula care is eligible for reimbursement through Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance or the Catamount program as long as you are enrolled in Better Beginnings.  You may be reimbursed for 9 hours of postpartum care under homemaker services.
